Pricing Inspiration
Pricing Inspiration helps sellers determine optimal pricing for their items during the listing process. It provides a predicted selling price range alongside real market data from similar sold items on Depop.
The recommendations update automatically when mandatory product attributes or the description change, ensuring the guidance remains relevant.

Predicted Price Range
Pricing Inspiration provides a three-point price range to guide sellers:
- Lower bound - The lowest suggested price, designed to attract buyers quickly.
- Prediction - A mid-range price that aims to balance selling speed and profit.
- Upper bound - The highest suggested price, which could make you the most money, but may take longer to sell.
Similar Sold Items
Along with the price range, pricing inspiration returns similar items that have sold recently on Depop. This provides sellers with real market data to inform their pricing decisions.
Identical sold items from multi-quantity products are filtered out to ensure variety and relevance.
The sold items returned are sorted from lowest to highest price and by similarity.
Limitations and considerations
- No luxury brand support - Pricing inspiration does not support luxury brand items. These items require different pricing strategies and market analysis.
- Attribute dependency - Price predictions are only as accurate as the product attributes provided. Ensure mandatory fields like description, product type, department, condition, and brand name are complete and accurate for best results.
- Regional constraints - Pricing inspiration are currently available only for UK and US items.
